Whistleblowing is a term used generally for an act where an individual (whistleblower) informs their employer about unlawful or unethical conduct committed by another person in the workplace or in connection with the performance of other activities for the employer.

According to Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on the protection of whistleblowers, as amended (the “Act”), VUCH s.r.o., Company ID: 045 22 150, with its registered office at Lukavička 26, 538 21 Lukavice (the “Company”), is obliged from December 15, 2023, to implement an internal reporting system (whistleblowing line) for acts that have the characteristics of a criminal offense or a misdemeanor with a fine of at least 100,000 CZK, as well as for other acts specified in § 2 of the Act.

We are convinced that reporting suspicions of possible unlawful conduct protects the values of our business and our corporate culture, as it allows us to identify problems early, prevent inappropriate conduct, and reduce costs associated with remedial actions. Our internal reporting system also protects the anonymity of the whistleblower and prevents possible retaliatory measures.

The Company expressly excludes receiving reports from a person who does not perform work or other similar activity for the Company according to Section 2, paragraph 3, letters a), b), h) or i) of the Act. The Company expressly warns that knowingly submitting a false report is a misdemeanor within the meaning of the Act, for which a fine of up to 50,000 CZK may be imposed.

When submitting a report, always provide your name, surname, and date of birth or other identifier to verify your identity. Otherwise, it will not be possible to provide you with protection against retaliatory measures. The relevant persons designated for receiving and handling reports have a duty of confidentiality, and its breach is sanctioned.
